COMPETITIVE U13 & U14 (PHASE 2)

The competitive U13& U14 program is for players born 2012(U13) and 2011 (U14). In phase two of player development, players and parents can expect the following.


  • All teams have a professional Team Coach.
  • Only one team per age group, allowing us to focus on a smaller group of players for more consistent growth and development.
  • Training sessions that focus on:
  • Game situations as opposed to training activities.
  • Game transitions
  • Tactical problem solving
  • More dynamic play
  • Expectation of being a good student and athlete.

TEAM FORMATION

Participants are selected during the annual tryouts in June of each year. Teams are formed by 16-18 players.


COMPETITIONS


Our club has access to several leagues and competitions for our teams to compete at adequate level for development. Some examples of leagues that our U13/U14 teams currently participate in are:


Iowa Soccer League (ISL)

Club Development League (CDL)

Heartland League of KC (HSL)

Nebraska Soccer League (NYSL)

USYS National League (NL MWC)   

Iowa State Cup

Iowa President's Cup


Our U13 & U14 teams will play in 2 tournaments located within or surrounding the State of Iowa per season.

TRAINING CALENDAR

Fall (August-October): 12 Weeks, 3 (90 min) sessions per week. 

Winter (November-March) : 24 (60 minute) futsal (indoor soccer) training sessions.

Spring (April-June): 12 Weeks, 3 (90 min) sessions per week. 


PROGRAM COSTS


$1,485. Includes Fall, Winter and Spring.

Uniforms must be purchased separately through soccer master.
